Dariush Farhang, born on 27 November 1947 in Abadan , in Iran , is a director, screenwriter and Iranian actor .
Biography
After primary, school and high school in “Kerman” [Kerman is a ancient province in southeast of Iran], the hometown of his mother, “Dariush Farhang” following his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of “Tehran” University for a theater stage director’s career. He is the founder of the theater group “Bonyan” .
In film, he started as an actor in Selandar of Varouge Karim Massihi in 1980 . A few years later, he wrote and directed his first film, “Rasul, son of Abol Ghasem” .
Dariush Farhang was married to “Susan Taslimi” , actress Iranian film and theater.
